Industry Milestone
Pasqal and Aeponyx launch PIC packaging center at C2MI
Follow this industry milestone with source-backed QAtlas analysis, related companies, funding records, research links, and publication context.
Pasqal, through its Canadian subsidiary Aeponyx, announced a Photonic Integrated Circuit packaging center of competency for quantum and sensing applications at C2MI in Bromont, Quebec.
The project brings together Aeponyx, HOP Technologies, and Phantom Photonics, with combined federal and provincial support and a total project budget reported at $7.9 million.
For QAtlas, the milestone is a supply-chain and scaling signal: neutral-atom quantum roadmaps increasingly depend on industrial photonics packaging, alignment, and repeatable low-volume manufacturing before larger module production becomes realistic.
