Aegiq uses NVIDIA Ising to calibrate Artemis photonic quantum computer
Follow this technology update with source-backed QAtlas analysis, related companies, funding records, research links, and publication context.
Aegiq reported that it integrated NVIDIA Ising AI models into the calibration workflow for Artemis, its first-generation photonic quantum computer deployed at the UK National Quantum Computing Centre.
The company said the initial deployment reduced weekly engineering time for calibration by 3x, allowing non-specialists to run calibration while quantum computing specialists focus on higher-priority development tasks.
The deployment uses NVIDIA Ising Calibration, a vision-language model for quantum processor calibration, hosted locally on an NVIDIA DGX Spark for low-latency inference in an agent-based calibration workflow.
For QAtlas, the signal is operational rather than only technical: as photonic quantum systems scale from individual sources and components toward larger fault-tolerant architectures, automated calibration and error-correction tooling become part of the commercial readiness stack.
